Mychal Copeland is the Bay Area director of InterfaithFamily. Her rabbinate includes having served Congregation Beth Simchat Torah, the world’s largest LGBTQI synagogue. She works with both multifaith and Jewish groups that engage the intersection of LGBTQI and religious identities. Rabbi Copeland is a graduate of Harvard Divinity School and is ordained by the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College.
D’vorah Rose, a multi-faith healthcare chaplain, rabbi, and palliative care/hospice nurse, consults with and advises health-care institutions throughout the United States and internationally on the intersections of religious and cultural diversity, pluralism, and health-care status. She places specific focus on historically under served communities, including LGBTQI patients and health-care providers. She is a graduate of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and is ordained by ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal.
The Rt. Rev. V. Gene Robinson was the ninth Episcopal bishop of New Hampshire, being the first openly gay, partnered priest to become a bishop in historic Christianity. He is currently a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, Washington, DC.
